Power Off the Grid – Renewable Energy DIY

There is enough power that is emitted from the sun in twenty days of sunlight that in average equals the reserves of our Earth in all of its oil, coal, and natural gas.

Twenty days of sunlight to equal all of our exhaustible natural resources. Why are we not harnessing more of this power?

That is solar power alone. There is wind, geothermal, and hydro power. The most cultivated in general short of some huge government program (hoover dam and such) is solar and wind turbine power.

Even with our nuclear power plants spread across the globe from America to England and France to Russia, Pakistan and India to China, Japan as well they all combined pale in comparison to our solar system furnace and the amount of light that lands on Earth.

And when the sun isn’t shining down on us there’s wind, water, and the heat in the Earth to be harvested.

And it’s all around us, at all times.

So why aren’t more people using natural green energy? A lot of people simply don’t care or have never heard of power off grid subjects before or they would like to know how to have a system of their own but lack the information on how to get it done.

With solar we harvest the photons that strike the solar panel that creates a reaction that makes electrical current, and with wind power the wind spins around windmill blades that spins a turbine that creates electrical current as well.

Hydro power is the same basic concept as a wind turbine setup except as you can imagine water spins around a turbine instead of wind.

Creating a basic power off grid system does not have to cost an arm and a leg and can be done for under 0. All it requires is some common tools, and you do not have to buy new so it can cost even less.
